Hume Band 2.0
Hume Health- Battery
- Up to 14 days

- Optional
Most of what you will read about this gear was written by somebody who gets paid if you buy it. We check the manufacturer instead, and we put a date on it.
A public record of what we checked, what the internet publishes, and what the manufacturer actually says. Every entry came out of our own first draft, before this page ever went up.
| Product | What gets published | What the maker says |
|---|---|---|
| Whoop 5.0 | Battery 4 to 5 days | 14+ days |
| Hume Band 2.0 | Battery 7 to 10 days | Up to 14 days |
| Whoop 5.0 | $239 a year | $199, $239 or $359 |
| Function Health | $499 a year | $365, first year |
| Function Health | 100+ biomarkers | 160+ lab tests a year |
| Levels | About $199 a month | $199 a year, sensors extra |
| Nutrisense | About $225 a month | $179 to $399, by term |
| InsideTracker | $249 to $589 per test | $149 a year, plus per test |
| SiPhox | Finger prick at home | Upper-arm EasyDraw |
Ten results, ten buy buttons, and one of them sits on a domain built to look like a medical publication. Here is what changes when somebody actually checks.
Eight products, every figure taken from the manufacturer and dated. Hover to stop the rail, or search above to filter it.
Tell us what you are shopping for and it goes on the list. You will hear from us when we have a number worth quoting.
Four kinds of listing, one standard of proof. The category is what joins them, and that join is the entire reason to use a directory instead of a search engine.
Nationwide, so location does not apply. Verified means the claim has been checked against the manufacturer and carries the date we checked it, which is why every price on this page has one.
A fixed address. Verified means the license and the accreditation rather than a star rating, because a rating tells you how somebody felt and a license tells you what they are allowed to do.
Listed by the states they are licensed in, not by how far away they are. We book you with them. We are not the ones providing the care, and we will never pretend otherwise.
Summits, workshops and sessions that actually exist. Verified here is the simplest thing on the list: it is happening, and this is when.
Every category carries the gear, the clinics that run it near you, the practitioners licensed where you live, and what the research actually supports. Three are checked and open. The rest say so.
Three categories, eight products, every figure taken from the manufacturer rather than from another comparison page. One of these splits membership from consumables. One doubles depending on how long you commit.
Hume is the quiet contender. Whoop is the incumbent. Two very different bets on whether you should keep paying for a wearable after you own it.

What we corrected. Most comparisons still print 4 to 5 days for Whoop. That was the 4.0 hardware. The 5.0 runs 14+ days, which makes battery a wash between these two rather than a reason to pick one. We left the row in because deleting it would hide the correction.
We recheck this table against the manufacturer every month. Whoop's battery changed by ten days between hardware generations, and plenty of comparison pages still print the old figure.
They all read the same thing. Where they split is what you get back, and how hard each one makes it to work out what you are actually paying.

What we corrected. Our own draft listed Levels at about $199 a month. That is the annual membership, and the sensors are separate on top of it. Nutrisense was listed as a single number when it is a range that more than doubles depending on how long you commit.
We track the real all-in cost, and we will send the codes the day we have them. One of these splits the membership from the sensors. One prices by how long you commit. The sticker number is almost never what you pay.
All three test your blood. They disagree about how much of it should involve a lab, a clinician, and a yearly commitment.

What we corrected. SiPhox is not a finger prick. They say so plainly: no needles, no finger pricks. Function moved to $365, and their own footnote calls that the first-year price, so we are not calling it an annual rate until they publish the renewal. InsideTracker is now a membership plus per-test pricing, not a flat price per test.
We recheck this table quarterly. Function moved to $365. InsideTracker moved to a membership. Both happened quietly and most comparison pages have not caught up.
Three real dates, verified the simplest way there is: they exist, and this is when. The first belongs to somebody else and its registration is already open. Ours opens closer to the day.
Founding members are grandfathered permanently. Whatever we charge later, you keep what you signed up at, plus first look at every deal we negotiate.
Tell us what you're shopping for. We check it at the source, and you hear from us when something actually changes. Founding rate locked from the day you join.
